Whether you want to fuel up for a day of outdoor activities or relax and enjoy dinner and a bottle of wine, the Canyon Market and Deli menu will appeal to a wide-range of appetites and tastes. Hearty, hot breakfasts are served until 11:30 am. Our lunch and dinner selections feature a variety of hand crafted pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and soup du jour.

The Canyon Market is dedicated to using fresh, regional ingredients to provide healthy and delightful cuisine at a good value for our guests. Working closely with local purveyors for produce and provisions, our menu offers many options including tri-tip, hamburgers, hot dogs and poultry, fish, and vegetarian choices. Our soups, salads, sandwiches, and entrees are prepared fresh daily in our kitchen and available for dine-in or take out.

We also feature Santa Barbara Roasting Company drip coffee. Enjoy the perks of free coffee daily, when you buy our Canyon Logo Mug. Your mug will even work on return visits!

Grill Dining & Cabin Service

Enjoy the activity and adventure of dining in nature. A long standing tradition at El Capitan Canyon, consider “grill dining” over an open fire pit in front of your cabin. Choose from the traditional favorites like hamburgers and hot dogs or for a more gourmet meal option, select chicken, tri-tip or salmon filet. Our signature barbecue kits include the necessary ingredients for a camp-style fireside dinner; salad, side dishes, garlic bread, chili beans, drinks, plates, eating utensils, napkins and one of our S’mores kit. Refined over many years, we’ve put together all of the items in one easy to-go package and perfect for you to dine in nature during your visit!

For BBQ Kit pricing or to reserve your kit, please call the Canyon Market. Please call at least 2 hours in advance for BBQ Kit orders. For a small additional delivery fee, BBQ kits can be delivered to your yurt or cabin (guest must be present at accommodation to receive delivery).

Wine & Tastings

With an array of options, our Canyon Market features delicious wines from the world renowned Santa Barbara County wine region, and surrounding Santa Rita Hills and Paso Robles wine regions. Grapes grown in our mild coastal climate that are then handcrafted, using the expertise of world-class winemakers, has made our local wines some of the most sought after in the world. Working closely with local vineyards, we procure an exclusive selection of wines that pair perfectly with our menu.

Don’t forget to ask about our ever popular wine tasting events! Featured on Friday nights throughout the summer and holiday weekends. Situated under the Sycamore trees at the Canyon Market, each tasting features a local vintner who happily pours and enlightens participants on varietals from the winery, and complimented by some delectable cheese and snacks. The sun filtering through the trees in the late afternoon, the laughter of friends and family, and the warmth of Canyon hospitality make this an event not to be missed!

Retail Store

We’ve searched far and wide to bring a diverse, well-selected and, local assortment of items to our Canyon Market store. With brands like Patagonia, Yetti and Lodge Cast Iron to unique gifts and popular children’s toys, there is something for everyone. From pajamas to sweatshirts, there is a diverse selection of our popular logo wear, cuddly stuffed animals in likeness of the wildlife and farm animals that inhabit the resort, and beautifully carved walking sticks.

You’ve got all sorts of snacks and gourmet nibbles at your fingertips in our grocery nook. Feast on stuffed olives from the Santa Barbara Olive Company, locally grown organic Pistachios, our own famous cookies made daily and of course, we’ve also got many of the classic favorites; chips, salsa, popcorn, candy and more! Be sure to pick-up one of our signature S’more kits and head back to your cabin for a delicious, easy way to enjoy a traditional camping favorite.
